2. How we use your information
- To process job applications and connect candidates with employers
- To operate, maintain, and improve the platform
- To send transactional emails (application confirmations, status updates)
- To process payments for subscription services
- To verify phone numbers via SMS
- To detect and prevent fraud
3. Information sharing
We share your application information only with the employer you applied to. We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers (payment processing, email delivery, SMS verification) who process it on our behalf.
4. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Candidate application data is retained for 2 years after the last activity. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
5. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted password storage (bcrypt), and access controls. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may also object to processing or request data portability. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@hirecommand.com.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
